What I believe
Four convictions behind Chat2Plan, and why I built it.
Planning should feel like talking it through
- Most planners make you fill in a form first, so you often don’t write the thought down at all.
- Type “dentist tomorrow 2pm” and the date and time are filled in.
- Everything else is a tap: check a task off, edit it or move it.
- The Coach, the part of Chat2Plan that helps you plan, asks a question or two, then proposes.
Your plans are none of our business
- Your tasks are encrypted on your device before they sync across your devices.
- We can’t read them: not for support, not for debugging errors.
- We don’t train AI models on them, and no vendor we use does either.
- We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising. No ads, ever.
Start simple
- You start with the essentials: note things down, plan today, review your week.
- Extras like a week view or a focus timer arrive only when you say yes, and “Why this?” shows the research behind each suggestion.
- Settings lists every extra, so you can add or remove any of them.
- Not one more app packed with features and settings you never use: it stays simple.
Your plan bends, it doesn’t break
- Missing a day costs you nothing.
- Your plan leaves free time on purpose, so there’s room for a surprise.
- When a task misses its time, one tap proposes a new plan for the rest of the day.
Why I built it
- None of the planners I tried stuck.
- In most, privacy was an afterthought, buried in a policy I had to research before trusting them with what I wrote.
- A planner you hold back from doesn’t work.
- So Chat2Plan is private first, starts small, and grows only where you need it.
